Problems With Herbalife
When considering possible problems with Herbalife, it’s important to be clear on what problems we may be referring to. Herbalife is a $3 Billion Dollar company offering nutritional supplements and weight management products that are distributed through a system of network marketing by independent distributors; currently over 1.9 Million strong. So when talking about possible problems with Herbalife, one could be referring to the actual products, or the business of marketing and selling the products. Let’s take a look at both.
Are There Problems with the Herbalife Business?
Well, it depends upon who you ask, doesn’t it? Someone who is currently working the business and making a significant income doing so, will definitely say that there are no problems with Herbalife. And that statement will be backed up by personal results. On the other hand, there may be someone who has been in the business for some time, but has struggled throughout and has still not produced any results. These people may feel that there really are problems with Herbalife.
Due to the nature of network marketing, there are usually a large number of people who struggle. Some push through and achieve their goals, others quit. It’s the reality of the business. But I will say that many of the people who did quit, are better off simply because of the experience and skills they acquired during the process.
The question is, who’s to blame when it isn’t working? The problem may be with the individual, and some will blame Herbalife. The fact is, it’s a business and there are challenges. It can be argued that because the health and wellness industry is becoming so huge (projected to become a $1 Trillion industry), it is immensely competitive, making it more difficult to make money at it. If someone is considering Herbalife as a business, it can be rewarding, but it’s important to understand the industry you’re getting into.
Network Marketing certainly has it’s up’s and down’s. Is Herbalife’s marketing plan any less attractive than other network marketing companies out there? Does one company require less effort than another? This is a debate that can go on for hours. My advise is to consider whether you are passionate about the products. Did you achieve results taking them? Ultimately you have to love what you do and believe in the company. That has a lot to do with success.
Problems with Herbalife Products
With literally millions of success stories across the world, there is no doubt that Herbalife works. However, some people may experience problems with Herbalife when taking the weight management products. Many times, if someone is feeling sick on the program or experiences headaches or nausea, it’s because of a normal detoxification process that the body goes through as it’s being cleansed of toxins.
When Herbalife first started in the early 1980’s and through its formulation and early years, there were certainly problems that the company experienced. For example, Herbalife was involved in an issue over Ephedra, a supplement that was found to have caused heart problems in some dieters. However, Herbalife ultimately adopted a new Ephedra-free formulation after the FDA banned the use of Ephedra. Herbalife has a scientific and medical advisory board comprised of respected doctors and scientists. There is so much research that goes into the development of the products.
The only other reason I believe someone may believe there are problems with Herbalife is if they experience certain side effects after taking the products. You can read more about that on the post, just click the side effects link above.

Hi Nelly
I just started herbalife to bring down my blood sugar as i love to eat!.I thought maybe you are taking too much fiber and not enough water to assist the fiber to go down your system and flush it. If you dont take enough water, the fiber becomes like glue and sticks like glue inside and you get plugged up and cant go to the toilet. It happened to me with physillium fiber i bought from the pharmacy.you cant follow what others do as you may not be able to agree with the dose recommended. Take what helps you.Too much detox is bad- not everyone can follow through the same regime. I found out the hard way with a detox from another company. Without adequate water for your detox- your kidneys are in trouble- cant flush the dirt out. Be careful and be moderate in everything. Herbs are medicine too- too much is bad

Is there any side effect of afresh on kidney
[Reply]
Hi Arvind
Who knows why doctors dont prescribe? So many reasons. They dont teach you about herbs etc in Medical school I guess.Doctor’s medication for my diabetes was giving me so many problems- blurry vision, sharp pains in the chest and itches all over from head to foot . I scratched till i bled and i have the scars to prove it. However, although a number of herbs can help diabetes, I know that you cannot and should not be trigger happy and take large doses.
In the end we have to use our god given common sense to decide what is good for ourselves. What may be helpful to one person may not help another. I go by how i feel. Too much ” good stuff” can be bad too.

Herbalife cannot be prescribed because it is a food and not a drug.

Any time you begin a new weight loss regiment, your body can go through a detoxification, which can result in side effects. However, not everybody experiences side effects. Side effects when beginning ANY weight loss program are: headaches, digestive issues, etc. However, those are side effects of your detoxification, and again, not everyone experiences them. I would highly recommend Herbalife. I started out as a consumer, and I have never felt better in my entire life (and I have been a competitive volleyball player for 18 years). It’s amazing what your body can do and how your body can feel when it gets all of the nutrients it needs.

I just started with herbalife aweek ago. After taking afresh in the morning,I sweat alot and feel as if heat radiates from my body and I also feel hot.I asked why that happened they told me tht it was detoxification. My coach asked me to start with afresh twice a day. I started with this routinue from today but I developed a lot of pimples on my face. I am worried. pl help.Should I stop afresh or the whole process.

Don’t worry just yet. The pimples on your face are from your sweating. The pores on your skin are a point in which you can excrete the nasty stuff that has been in your body. I would ask your coach about Garden 7. In the catalog, Garden 7 is all about veggies and giving you the nutrients you can receive from veggies. However, I learned from a fellow coach that Garden 7 is great for acne as well. If you continue to have troubles with it after 5 days of doing your routine, speak to your coach again about your side effects. When beginning new “diets” your body goes through changes because you are ridding your body of the nasty things that are not good for you.

I have seen success stories and have no doubt that many users are happy with the products and have no side effects. I however, have over a 6 month period been able to positively link extremely painful boil type of sores I developed directly to the Herbal-life tea. This is not only painful but costly on medical treatment.
Due to this side effect I dare not even consider using or promoting any of the products.
Pleas advise on this effect.

Hi,
There are no side effects of Herbalife. The issue that you have currently having is different
[Reply]
Whatever the issue is, the abscess’s that occur are triggered by Herbalife tea. I am currently trying to treat the eighth such abscess after putting it to the test. I am quite willing to back up this effect at any time.
