Is Herbalife Gluten Free

There seems to be a lot of interest as to whether Herbalife products are gluten free. We see more and more food products out there that have gluten free labels and this seems to be important for people who have certain stomach problems. This post is not intended to go into details about what a gluten free diet is all about, but rather to address whether Herbalife products are gluten free.

As of this posting, according to Herbalife, only one of their products is certified as gluten free, and that’s the Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix Tropical Fruit flavor. After inquiring about this at the Distributor Relations department of Herbalife, we were told that the gluten free issue has been addressed and the rest of the Herbalife products are being worked on to make more of them gluten free.

Herbalife has an advisory board made up of scientists and doctors who continue to refine and enhance the product line, so as new information and discoveries come up about the foods we eat, Herbalife investigates and makes enhancements.

So if you are concerned about taking Herbalife and you need to be sure that Herbalife is gluten free, then for now and until they add more products under this label, then you are safe with the Tropical Fruit flavor of the shake mix.
